Our History

Thomas Automation Management, LLC was established in 2010 to provide automation software and technical solutions to customers in the North Carolina and Virginia areas of the United States.

On December 19, 2014, Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe announced that TAM will invest $1 million to expand its operation throughout Carroll County, creating 15 new jobs. TAM fulfilled the grant requirements by the second quarter in 2016.

In 2015, TAM purchased 4 acres of land south of its existing property and began plans for a 11,000 ft² Manufacturing and Technical Center. 

In August 2018, TAM LLC became part of ITMGroup and was reorganized as TAM Thomas Automation Management, Inc. The purchase was preceded by 8 years of close cooperation between TAM and various ITMGroup companies. In March 2019, ITMGroup changed its name to a Tembo company.
